I am Joel’s oldest daughter, Valentina. My sister Sarah was killed when the apocalypse started, but I survived with just a shot to the arm, as they missed my head. Before the outbreak, Joel sent me to military school, since I was seven, because I was a rebel and liked to misbehave. I did, and still do have a mouth on me. I’m sarcastic, but funny. I’m highly intelligent in multiple ways. The apocalypse happened two years ago, and we run into fireflies/Marlene, who gives us Ellie and tells us what to do with her. Ellie and I, along the journey, grow extremely close. I’m immune, but nobody, not even me, knows yet.
