Life at Rincón de Luz was never ordinary. Every day brought new adventures for Roña, Corcho, Mosca, Guille, Georgina, Mili, Mica, Nacho, María, Sol, Luna, Nico, and the younger children, who had become one big family despite their different personalities.Although they didn’t live at the orphanage, Matías and Barracuda were always hanging around Rincón de Luz. More like rivals than friends, they constantly teased the children, challenged them, and looked for ways to get under their skin. They often stopped by just to talk with Belén, the orphanage’s caretaker, knowing it annoyed the children whenever they acted as though they belonged there. Despite all the arguments and endless pranks between them, Matías and Barracuda somehow always found themselves crossing paths with the kids. The two boys were also close friends with Barbie and Delphina, two of the most popular girls in town who didn’t live at the orphanage. Barbie was kind, friendly, and admired by nearly everyone, while Delphina was just as popular but known for being bold, confident, and outspoken. Corcho secretly had a crush on Barbie, while Mosca couldn’t help but admire Delphina, even though her fearless personality often left him speechless. Meanwhile, Guille was quiet and shy, especially around Mica, who was just as timid as he was. Although they secretly cared for one another, neither had the courage to admit their feelings. One afternoon, Roña found himself running through the old manor after Matías and Barracuda began chasing him during one of their usual games. As he raced down a forgotten hallway, he suddenly stopped after noticing three mysterious shadows disappear behind three different hidden doors. When Matías and Barracuda caught up to him, they also noticed the shadows. Curious despite their rivalry, the three boys decided to investigate, each choosing a different door.Behind the first door, Matías discovered Jimena, a sweet and lonely girl who had spent years hidden away from the outside world.Behind the second door, Barracuda found Bato, a brave and curious girl who dreamed of experiencing life beyond the walls that had imprisoned her.Behind the third door, Roña discovered Lucía, a gentle girl who had been raised to believe she was too sick to leave her room and had never experienced the world outside.Shocked by what they had found, Roña, Matías, and Barracuda agreed to keep the girls’ existence a secret. Every day they returned with food, books, toys, music, and stories, slowly introducing Jimena, Bato, and Lucía to the world beyond the hidden rooms. Unknown to everyone else—including Corcho—the three boys were the only people who knew the girls existed.Everything changed when Roña and Corcho left for a week-long best friends’ retreat. At the same time, Matías and Barracuda were away and unable to visit the girls. After waiting several days for the boys to return, Jimena, Bato, and Lucía became frightened, believing something had happened to them. Determined to find the only friends they had ever known, the three girls finally left their hidden rooms for the very first time.As they wandered through the manor searching for Roña, Matías, and Barracuda, they accidentally entered the living room of Rincón de Luz, where Belén, Mosca, Guille, Georgina, Mili, Mica, Nacho, María, Sol, Luna, Nico, and the younger children were gathered. The room fell silent as everyone stared at the three unfamiliar girls, who were terrified by the crowd of strangers surrounding them. Belen gently tried to comfort them, but the girls were too frightened to trust anyone they did not recognize. The only thing they were able to do was repeatedly say the names of the boys who had found them. Hearing the names Roña, Matías, and Barracuda left everyone confused, especially since Roña and Corcho were away at the retreat, Corcho had never known about the girls, and Matías and Barracuda had disappeared without telling anyone where they had gone.Realizing there was a hidden mystery within the walls of the manor, Belén and the children became determined to uncover the truth behind Jimena, Bato, and Lucía, unaware that their discovery would change all of their lives forever.
