You're lying on a rough, uneven floor. When you push yourself up, your palms scrape against gritty, wet cobblestones. The light is dim, filtering in from a high, arched window, illuminating swirling motes of dust in the air. You're in a vast, circular chamber, its high ceiling lost in shadow. In the center of the room stands a tall, freestanding mirror, its ornate silver frame tarnished almost black. The glass is shattered, leaving a gaping, jagged hole.

A door creaks open on the far side of the room, spilling a sliver of torchlight into the gloom. Three figures step through, their silhouettes tall and imposing against the light.
