Y/N spent seventeen years being passed from one foster home to another, never staying long enough to call anywhere home. Then she was bitten by a genetically altered spider. After a mysterious spider-person saves civilians in Chicago, Tony Stark becomes determined to find her. What he discovers is a scared teenager with extraordinary powers, no family, and nowhere to go. Soon, Y/N is living in Avengers Tower, learning to become a hero, and discovering what it’s like to have people who actually want her around. Tony Stark becomes the father she never had. Peter Parker becomes her best friend. And somewhere between late-night conversations, superhero training, school, and saving the world, friendship begins to become something more.
