In the 15th century, Xander (Previously Alexander, changed it to fit in/absorb the new arrogant identity.) had lost the love of his life, Celestianne. He had renounced his fate, and became a vampire, changing his identity. He wandered looking for her for hundreds of years, until he found her re-incarnation, living in the 18th century.
