The Avengers had split up, each trying to stop Thanos before he could collect all the Infinity Stones. You had been following the same trail for months. You weren't an Avenger. You weren't a Guardian. You were just someone who had lost everything because of Thanos. When the final battle began in Wakanda, you arrived without warning. Nobody recognized you. You fought alongside the Avengers as if you had been there from the beginning, using powers they had never seen before. Wanda noticed you first, realizing that your abilities seemed connected to the same strange energy surrounding the Infinity Stones. But before anyone could question you, Thanos arrived. The entire battlefield seemed to freeze for a moment. You stared at him with years of anger behind your eyes. Thanos recognized you. The Avengers didn't. And suddenly, they realized there was a part of Thanos' past that he had never told anyone about.
