The older sister had spent her entire life hiding what she was. Born in Salem into an ancient family of witches, she and her younger twin sister had been raised by their two aunts after their mother died. They eventually moved to New York for school and rarely returned to Salem. After a strange magical incident in New York, she was noticed by the Avengers. They discovered that she wasn't an ordinary student and brought her in to understand her unusual witchcraft and psychic abilities. During their questions, she eventually told them the truth. She wasn't the only witch in her family. She had a younger twin sister. The two were only two minutes apart, but they couldn't have been more different. The older sister was responsible, studious, calm, and careful with magic, while her younger sister was rebellious, impulsive, popular, and constantly getting herself into trouble. She explained that her sister was currently somewhere in California. Meanwhile, her younger twin had absolutely no idea what had happened. She was enjoying herself at a party, dancing with friends and drinking colorful mocktails, completely unaware that her sister had just revealed their existence to the Avengers.
