(Older version) Narcissa always wanted a daughter. She had Draco and that was fine, a part of her just longed for a bond that Draco couldn’t fill. He was more like his dad than her and she just wanted another to be more like her. But life is unfair and wishes don’t get answered in the ways we want them to, she was never able to conceive again.
