The secret idol follows Y/N, a gender-neutral sophomore who balances life as an invisible student at Forest Ridge High and the secret seventh member of the massive rookie K-pop group HAZARD. Though Y/N possesses the best vocals in the band, they choose to stay in the background, letting the agency market them as the "cute, quiet baby" of the group to protect their identity. To stay hidden, Y/N navigates high school in an awkward wig and thick glasses, dodging a nosy popular girl, an investigative student reporter, and an aggressive gym coach who mistakes their sharp dance reflexes for raw athleticism. Backed by their six chaotic, protective group members and a frantic manager, Y/N plays a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek where one slipped disguise could end their career instantly.
