You thought he was just a lonely boy. He thought you were his forever. When you were children, you found Jungkook sitting alone, surrounded by a world you didn’t understand. You became his only friend, the only person who never feared his family or cared about his dangerous surname. Before he was taken away, he gave you a little bunny and made you a promise. “When we’re older, I’ll marry you.” You laughed. He never did. Years later, Jungkook returns to Seoul—but the boy you remember is gone. In his place stands a ruthless mafia lord whose name alone is enough to make powerful men tremble. And somehow, after all these years, he has found you. You don’t recognize him. But he remembers everything. He’s been watching you from the shadows, learning your life from a distance, protecting you without your knowledge and quietly eliminating anyone who threatens to get too close. Because Jungkok didn’t spend all those years searching for you just to say hello. He came back for the girl who once saved him from loneliness. He came back for the promise he made. And now that he’s found you… he intends to keep you.
