Twenty years after four Briar hockey players unknowingly built a lifelong family, it’s time for the next generation to create their own story. Y/N Di Laurentis, daughter of Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes Di Laurentis, transfers to Briar University for her final year after spending three years at Yale, wanting to reconnect with the place she has heard about her entire life. Returning to Briar also means returning to people she has known forever. Family dinners. Summer vacations. Holiday gatherings. Will Logan, Beck Tucker and Gigi Graham have always been part of her life. But three years apart have changed all of them. When a last-minute housing issue arises, their parents come up with a simple solution: Y/N can move into the spare room at the house Will and Beck share in Hastings, only ten minutes away from campus. What nobody expects is how quickly old familiarity turns into something entirely new. Between volleyball practices, theatre rehearsals, hockey games, late-night conversations and everyday routines, Briar slowly begins to feel like home. Because sometimes, growing up means realizing that the people you’ve known your entire life are no longer the same people you remember. And maybe, just maybe, neither are you. After all, some stories aren’t about meeting new people. Sometimes, they’re about finding your way back to the ones who have always been there.
