Five students from two different high schools are trapped in a concrete stairwell as the world ends around them. Armed with nothing but a baseball bat, a fire extinguisher, and a desperate instinct to survive, they must set aside their rivalries and team up. To navigate the zombie-infested city and search for a cure, they will have to protect each other—and find a new kind of family in the apocalypse.
