The year is 1937. The series follows the Durrells after they leave Bournemouth, England for the Greek island of Corfu. (The series is on Disney plus!) its season three, just after Leslie has broken up with two of his three girlfriends (Daphne, Dionisia (the Maid Lugatetzia’s niece) and Tsanta (a peasant girl who helps out with the local church)) he had stayed with Dionisia. But Daphne’s father (who is a gangster) visits Lousia saying that Daphne is pregnant with Leslie’s baby and that he should marry her.
