Andy Sachs, a recent college graduate who wants to be a journalist, lands a job as an assistant to the extremely demanding Miranda Priestly at a top fashion magazine. At first Andy knows nothing about fashion and struggles with the intense job. Over time she adapts to the glamorous but stressful world—while questioning whether the success is worth sacrificing her personal life and values.
