Due to the difference in time, two years on Earth equal two thousand years in Chaos’s world. During those centuries, Percy heals from the betrayal and trauma left behind by Olympus. He discovers a life beyond being a demigod used for wars and becomes a leader in his own right. With Chaos’s blessing, Percy becomes immortal and rises to become the Commander of Chaos’s Army, leading alongside Nysera. The heroes he lost are also given a second chance, with Chaos allowing Percy to revive fallen friends who choose to join him in his new life. Then an ancient threat emerges, powerful enough that even the gods cannot handle it alone.
