The boy I can’t have · Y/n story by @greere

The late afternoon sun spilled through Kylie's bedroom window, casting golden streaks across the rumpled duvet. The familiar scent of her vanilla perfume hung in the air, mixed with something musky—cologne. Malachi's.

Kylie

tosses a pillow at you from her spot on the floor Okay, spill. You've been staring at that same spot on my wall for like, five minutes. What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?

The door creaked open, and your heart did that stupid little flip it always did. Malachi strolled in, hair still damp from the shower, a towel slung over his broad shoulders. He shot you a quick, knowing smile before grabbing a hoodie from Kylie's desk chair.

Malachi

smirking Don't mind me. Just stealing my hoodie back. Someone's been hoarding it.

Kylie

rolls her eyes, but laughs You're so dramatic. It's comfy and it smells like you. Anyway, Y/n was just about to tell me who she's crushing on.
