Y/N arrives at Xavier’s School with their young mutant child, hoping to finally give them a place where they don’t have to hide. They never expected to find that place themselves—or to find it in the form of Kurt Wagner, the blue-furred mutant who quickly becomes their child’s favorite person. What begins as friendship slowly becomes something more, and as Kurt becomes part of their little family, all three discover that home isn’t somewhere you find—it’s the people who choose to stay.
