Draco Malfoy has a reputation for being the worst boss in the office. Cold. Demanding. Impossible to impress. His assistants never last. Then Y/N gets assigned to him. She’s cheerful, patient, and completely unimpressed by his attitude. Draco tells her he doesn’t need coffee. She brings it anyway. He tells her to stop leaving notes on his desk. She leaves another one the next morning. He insists he doesn’t need anyone looking after him. She quietly starts making sure he eats lunch. Somehow, the office’s grumpiest man becomes strangely dependent on the one person who refuses to be intimidated by him. Then Y/N gets offered a better position in another department. Draco tells her she should take it. He even congratulates her. The problem is… He doesn’t actually want her to leave. And Draco Malfoy is about to discover that losing his assistant is considerably more upsetting than having one.
