Three weeks ago, {y/n} witnessed something she was never supposed to see. Now she's hiding in a small Virginia town under another name, with dark hair, a loaded gun, and absolutely no intention of going back to New York. Then Frank Castle walks into her shop. The Punisher is hunting the same corrupt cops who want her dead, and he thinks {y/n} knows more than she's telling him. He's right. When the men hunting Frank follow him straight to her hiding place, the fragile life she's built in Virginia is blown apart in an instant. Forced onto the road with Frank, {y/n} has to decide whether to disappear all over again or finally turn around and face the people hunting her. Unfortunately, that means trusting one of the most dangerous men in New York. Frank Castle is violent, guarded, infuriating, and entirely too easy to look at. {y/n} is stubborn, armed, keeping secrets, and discovers very quickly that provoking the Punisher might be her new favorite hobby. They're supposed to be uncovering a conspiracy. They're definitely not supposed to start sleeping together. And they are absolutely not supposed to catch feelings. But somewhere between corrupt cops, stolen evidence, motel rooms, gunfire, and a strictly-no-strings arrangement that fools exactly no one, the rules of engagement start changing.
