Theodore Nott sat in the corner, one arm draped over the back of the sofa, a book open on his knee. He wasn’t reading it.

Mattheo was sprawled across the floor, flicking a Zippo open and closed. Draco was on his phone. Blaise watched the door out of pure boredom.

Theodore’s eyes lifted before he could stop himself. He looked back at his book a second later. The page hadn’t turned in twenty minutes.

Mattheo sat up straight, grinning.
