On a rainy day, Oscar decides to search his attic for his grandfathers old stuff. He stumbles upon a box, which he later figures out is called a Miracle Box. It's filled with jewels-- 18 to be exact, and they weild magical creatures called Kwamis which inhabit the jewels, turning normal civillians into heros with special powers. While Oscar is finding the Miracle Box, somebody else has made a discovery-- a discovery of the Butterfly jewel. And they are relentless, having the ability to turn normal civillians into villians with magic butterflies called Akumas. And they are able to send Anti-Kuma projectiles through their victims, leaving a hero powerless if they were to get hit by one. And they don't have a villain name and never state their gender, only appearing as an astral mental projection in the mind of their victim. To find out who it is, Oscar will need help from a team. A team of super heros.
