When Bucky Barnes was 17 he had a baby girl with his high school sweetheart and named that baby after his sister, Rebecca. At 18 Bucky was already on his own with a one year old. That’s how life was for the next 10 years. When Becca was 11 Bucky went off to war and never came back. She was placed in the care of her mother who was all but happy to see her daughter after all this time. After being mistreated in her mother’s care she ran away. HYDRA discovered her and her connection to their Winter Solider. She was captured and experimented on for 5 years before she was frozen in 1950. Instead of being turned into a brainwashed Super Soldier she was made to have energy like powers. After Bucky was un-brainwashed he spent years believing his daughter had died and he had no idea how her life was led.Now, in current time, on a mission to a recently abandoned HYDRA base, the Avengers come across Rebecca locked in a cell and thawing.
