Mike wheeler is slowing pushing y/n away without even realizing it. He use to spend so much time with him, keeping her far away from her friends and family. She would call and text him and he wouldn’t even bother trying to answer. When she talks to him about it he says “I’m trying.” They even broke up a few times and got back together. Max would even try to get them to stay broken up but it wouldn’t last long. She would say “he’s just using you.” You cope with making jokes and shrugging it off to avoid your emotions.
