In the Upside Down, Steve, Nancy, and Robin are trapped inside the Creel House when vines begin to coil around their ankles and rapidly pull them off balance. Within moments, the vines tighten and lift them against the wall, restricting their movement and beginning to cut off their air. Steve struggles physically against the restraint, Robin reacts with panic as she fights to breathe, and Nancy stays focused, scanning for a way out even as the situation worsens. Outside the house, Eddie Munson is being chased through the darkness by demo-bats. He is repeatedly attacked and severely injured, but continues moving despite his wounds. As the vines inside the house begin to tighten further around Steve, Nancy, and Robin, Eddie’s situation escalates outside, leaving both groups in immediate and extreme danger with no clear escape.
