(Read author notes) Pansy was bit by while feeding what looked like a strange looking axolotl during her swim in a shallow section of the black lake to cool off from the summer heat. Since it had broken the skin and drew blood she decided to catch the creature and brought it and her injury back to madam Pomfrey and Professor Hagrid.
