Research Log - Hoenn Coastal Survey I have developed a severe cold after nearly drowning. Unsurprising. Saltwater in the lungs feels deeply unnatural, which I realize is a groundbreaking scientific observation. My head hurts too badly to continue reef notes, so instead I am documenting the fact that the two men who rescued me are currently arguing loud enough to shake the walls. I still do not fully understand who they are or what they're arguing about. At one point, they both stopped arguing to ask if I was cold at the exact same time. This somehow caused another argument. Humanity remains an exhausting species. I think it would have been better if I just drowned.
