When her Conqueror's Haki awakens accidentally as a child, it draws the attention of the World Government, forcing Shanks to step in and take her under his protection. Unlike Uta, whose power relies on her voice and the Sing-Sing Fruit, Y/n inherits Shanks' mastery of Swordsmanship and Haki. Realizing that his status as an Emperor of the Sea makes anyone close to him a target, Shanks takes a tough-love approach. He knows he won't always be there to shield her, especially after what happened with Uta. He ensures Y/n learns survival instincts, basic survival skills, and high-level combat from an early age. Instead of handing her a Devil Fruit, Shanks and Benn Beckman drill her in basic Haki control, evasive footwork, and tactical awareness. Her training focuses heavily on defense, observation, and reading an opponent's intent before an attack lands.
