You’ve always liked Draco Malfoy. Not that you’d ever admit it. He’s 2 years above you, surrounded by his usual crowd of Slytherins, carrying himself with the kind of arrogance that makes it seem as though the entire castle belongs to him. You’ve never expected him to notice you. Why would he? You’re a Slytherin too, but you keep to yourself, preferring quiet corners of the library, a book by the fire in the common room, and the company of the few friends you actually trust. Draco Malfoy has never had a reason to look your way. At least, that’s what you thought. Until one night, when something unknown begins stalking the halls of Hogwarts. Somehow, you find yourself running through the castle alongside Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, wand drawn as you try to fight off whatever has been lurking in the shadows. Spells fly. Stone corridors blur around you. And in the chaos, the creature manages to land a hit that sends you stumbling backward— Straight into someone. “Sorry,” you gasp, throwing the apology over your shoulder before turning back to the fight. You don’t see the look on Draco Malfoy’s face. (LOOK AT THE MEMORY BLOCK IN CHARACTERS BEFORE STARTING THE STORY!)
