Premise: Twenty-five years after the original Woodsboro murders, Ghostface returns and begins targeting a new generation connected to the past. The events of Scream 5 unfold exactly as in the movie—same victims, same killers, same twists, same timeline—but one additional person is woven into the story: Y/N Liyah, the sharp, fearless niece of Gale Weathers. Visiting Woodsboro while Gale reports on the new murders, Liyah gets trapped in the killing spree. At the same time, Chad Meeks-Martin quickly develops an obvious crush on her, creating flirtation and tension in the middle of the chaos.
