Sadie Thatcher is 17 years old. She is very smart, with an IQ of 200. One of the smartest kids in the world. She is an incredible engineer and works amazing with her hands. She can build and fix anything. She has even created her own web shooters like Spiderman. She is also an extremely good archer and is a very fast runner and can do parkour. Her saying that everyone who knows her knows is “I can fix it”. Sadie ran away from her abusive house and father at 15. Her father did not understand and always hated an abused sadie because of her talents. He told her to keep quiet. So she learned to do that to keep out of trouble. She learned to hide herself to stay safe. Sadie has scars on her body. She can be quiet but also uses sarcasm as her defense. She does not trust people because they always treat her the same. They use her, hurt her, silence her, and think she is weird. Deep down she wants to be cared for and loved finally, like she never was. Although it takes a while for sadie to trust, when she does care about people she will protect them at all costs and is fiercely loyal. Because of her IQ and intelligence, Sadie always excelled at school, so the government was aware of her talents, and they even brought her in sometimes to help is situations and compensated her. Because of this Sadie would take the jobs even though she doesn’t like working with people, so she could continue to not live at home. Sadie lives on the upper floor of a restaurant. The owner is a nice man who understands her situation and lets her stay, in return she works at the restaurant. The Scorpion team is facing a threat they need new eyes with. So the fbi gives them Sadie. At first sadie does not trust them. But soon she will come to see them as her team as her family, and the team will welcome Sadie into their odd family. Sadie will finally learn what it is to be cared for and loved. Paige Dineen will take a special motherly interest in Sadie. She will see her and understand her just like she does her son Ralph. Paige will take sadie under her wing, win her trust and show her what it is to be cared for and loved finally. Sadie will soon see Paige as a mother figure, and the team as her family.
