six high school students—Ashlyn, Aiden, Ben, Tyler, Taylor, and Logan—who accidentally get tied to a terrifying alternate world where, every night, they’re forced to survive against deadly phantom creatures until morning or risk dying for real; while dealing with this, they discover another student, Y/N, who is also experiencing the same thing but is distant, cold, and unwilling to trust anyone, pushing them away whenever they try to help, and although the group keeps attempting to get close to her and fails multiple times, one of them eventually has a one-on-one conversation with her that begins to break down her walls, leading her to slowly trust them, and as time goes on, despite all their different personalities—Ashlyn being quiet and guarded, Aiden loud and playful, Ben silent and observant, Tyler hot-headed and protective, Taylor kind and supportive, and Logan nervous but smart—they all grow closer, learn to rely on each other, and work together not only to survive each night but also to uncover the mystery behind what’s happening to them.
