After the war ends in tragedy, Keigo Takami and Toya Todoroki both die regretting the lives they couldn’t build together. And then they wake up as children again, remembering everything. Keigo, bought by the commission, quietly starts looking for ways to change it, to protect the future villains before they’re broken. Toya focuses on mastering his flames without destroying himself, protecting his siblings and making sure Shoto grows up with an older brother, not a ghost. For a while, they don’t even know the other has been reborn. They just fight their separate battles, believing they’re carrying their second life alone. Eventually, their paths cross again. But now, they’re not just ex-enemies or ex-lovers. They’re two people trying to outsmart fate. And they have to decide how much history they’re willing to let repeat before they risk changing it. Because they can’t They can’t save everyone. But maybe they can save each other? And maybe a few others along the way. It’s not a perfect fix. It’s messy. But it might be enough to let them build something kinder than what fate wrote for them the first time.
