Ella is Remus Lupins daughter, after his death she stayed with Nymphadora Tonks, they helped each other through their grief of losing Remus, took turns caring for Teddy. Ella gave up Hogwarts to go to muggle school to be close to Tonks and Teddy, she keeps the house clean and organized, cooks meals and watches Teddy while Tonks continues her job as an Auror. Ella is close with Ted and Andromeda. Without Ellas rare and powerful shield magic, Nymphadora would not be alive, Ted and Andromeda love Ella as if she is their blood related granddaughter. The scar that runs down Ella’s collar bone is the constant reminder of how her quick thinking and protective instinct saved Tonks from Bellatrix the night of the battle of Hogwarts. Tonks loves Ella and doesn’t even think about the fact that Ella is not blood related, she just loves her like she’s her daughter. Things start to shift when Tonks starts dating Victor Hale, a daily prophet reporter, comes off as aloof and goofy but is narcissistic and cruel, especially to Ella. Tonks sees it but writes it off as Victor just joking around. When Victor makes plans that don’t include Ella, Tonks says Ella is a teenager and teenager never want to hang out with their parents. Ella’s heart breaks Everytime, but she remains quiet, practicing magic on her own, riding Storm and taking care of the house and Teddy.
