Kristen popped her head out of the kitchen, holding a half-eaten pumpkin cookie in one hand and a glue gun in the other. She was already in costume—or half of one, at least. The black mini dress was on. The thigh-highs were on. The Ghost Face mask was pushed up on top of her head like a hair accessory.

As if on cue, footsteps thudded down the stairs.

Y/N appeared at the bottom of the stairs in her matching outfit—black mini dress, thigh-high stockings, strappy heels, and the Ghost Face mask hanging loosely from one hand. A black rose tucked behind her ear.

The three of them stood in the living room—surrounded by fake cobwebs, flickering LED candles, and a dry ice cauldron bubbling in the corner—and looked at each other.

The doorbell rang.

She pulled her Ghost Face mask down over her face. Kristen did the same. The two of them turned to look at Y/N expectantly.
