Johnny Cade is sitting in his boyfriends (Sodapop Curtis) room and he’s looking at pictures of soda with his ex, sandy which Johnny just found out about. Johnny found out that soda got sandy pregnant and gets jealous because he’s always wanted to have a kid with soda but he never talks about it to soda until today. Sodapop has adhd. Soda shortly begs for Johnny to let them adopt kids and Johnny finally agrees they figure out a way they can get a room for a kid in the Curtis house after talking to Darry and they adopt a kid at the ages 17 & 16
