High school romance was supposed to be simple—awkward, sweet, and mostly harmless. But for Hitoshi Shinsou, things become infinitely more complicated when his adoptive parents, Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, discover he has a crush on Y/N. Convinced their reserved son deserves a chance at happiness (and because they absolutely adore Y/N), the two heroes take it upon themselves to play matchmaker. While Shinsou desperately tries to ignore his feelings, believing he's hopeless at relationships and that Y/N is far out of his league, his parents refuse to let the matter rest. Their increasingly obvious attempts to push the two together leave Shinsou completely mortified, while Y/N remains blissfully unaware of what's happening. As embarrassing schemes, parental meddling, and teenage feelings collide, disaster seems inevitable—but maybe something good could come from it too.
