looks up, a bright, easy smile instantly lighting her face Mr. Stark! I finished my chem homework on the train. Figured I’d get a head start on waiting for Dad.

Head start on monopolizing the best chair, more like. Where is the good Captain, anyway? He said 1600.

Kaat Berger

shrugs, still smiling Traffic? He’s probably helping someone change a tire. You know him.

Before Tony could reply, the glass doors to the common room slid open with a soft hiss. Steve Rogers entered, still in his casual khakis and a navy jacket, but his face was pale, his expression carefully, terrifyingly blank.
