Y/N has worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. for years. They’re experienced, independent, and already familiar with the Avengers through their work as an operative. Clint Barton is someone they’ve crossed paths with countless times. They’ve worked missions together, argued over tactics, and developed the kind of professional familiarity that comes with years in the field. Neither of them ever realized they were related. Now Clint has to figure out how to be an uncle to someone he’s already known for years—and the Avengers aren’t exactly going to let him deal with it quietly.
