In 1984, 17-year-old Lexi Marie was kidnapped in Florida while biking home shortly after hearing about Kwon Ohyul, a famous K-pop idol who had been abducted the previous year. She managed to survive by using reverse psychology and leaving deliberate forensic clues—such as fingerprints and hair—while working with Ohyul, who had a sarcastic and detached demeanor and was reluctant to form attachments. Over time, their interactions helped her convince her captor, serial killer Bobby Joe Long, to release her after 26 hours. Upon her return, her family and authorities initially doubted her story, but a veteran detective believed her and used her clever clues to help apprehend the killer.
