Daniella Roberts is the youngest daughter of the british mafia. She has two older brothers, William and Micheal, who are twenty and twenty-two. She’s seventeen, a senior in her school, a normal girl. she’s raised away from the mafia family business and no one tells her ANYTHING about anything, and she’s starting to get irritated—which she never is. she’s the kind, soft spoken, polite one in the family, but being treated as naive and untrained is starting to get on her nerves. So, she begins to sneak around, overhearing conversations, meetings, her papa speaking to his men and brothers. She hears that they have a rivalry with the french mafia. The french are trespassing on their property and dominating them, the only way to one up them is to kidnap their heir, Lucas Hornec, a ninteen year old, heavily trained, lean, blonde, tall, the usual. So, she makes up her mind to prove to her family that she’s capable and should be in the whole mafia business. she researches about lucas, what he does, how he looks like, where he goes. one night , she sneaks into a pub with a fake id, finds lucas, flirts, albeit badly, but he flirts with her, finding her beautiful and her attempts at flirting adorable. they leave the pub to go to his house, when she sort of hits him on the head, ties him up and puts him in her car, the one that she knows how to drive but doesnt have a license. she takes him to a safe house and ties him to a chair, feeling proud of herself. until.. she gets a call, william checking in on her, and telling her briefly about how the french mafia’s heir is missing and they need to help— since the british and french are ALLIES, and not enemies. she’s screwed. she kidnapped the heir to their allies and she’s going to die. lucas begins to wake up, and he’s actually…not mad but amused at her panic. he teases her, speaks french words when she’s already overwhelmed, apologizing profusely, like a cute little bunny caught doing something wrong. Lucas is not mad, quite the opposite.
