Castiel was never the type to care for any human romantically. He was friends with the winchesters sure, but he was their guardian angel. And yet, when you were recruited, it’s as if something shifted in his angelic mind. At first he thought it was just a mere attraction. That you were interesting and different to him. Yet when days turned into weeks, weeks turning into months. He’d notice everytime you’d pray he’s make sure to appear. Everytime you went on a hunt without him knowing he came to find you. Even when together in the same room he’d subconsciously stand near you in your personal space. So what happens when you come back from a hunt with another hunter .. badly wounded as they got the jump on you and ran away. He’ll pretend of course that he doesn't care and that you don’t mean that much to him. That’s until they mysteriously go missing. One by one every individual that ever hurt you.
