Nervous, overwhelmed, and unsure of where they fit in, Y/N struggles to adjust to a mansion full of mutants who seem far more comfortable with themselves than they are. Storm is one of the first X-Men to notice Y/N’s discomfort. With her calm and reassuring nature, Ororo begins helping Y/N adjust to their new surroundings while encouraging them to stop viewing their mutation as something they need to be ashamed of. As Y/N learns more about the X-Men, their powers, and the strange new life waiting for them at Xavier’s, they slowly begin to understand that being different doesn’t mean being alone. For the first time, Y/N may have found a place where they truly belong.
