Y/n was the second person to join the glade. Newt was the third, but they aren’t friends. They don’t even talk. Not because they have beef just because newt was too scared. It’s now been a couple years and time passed slowly, with new greenies coming in every month. Thomas has been the most recent greenie and is becoming friends with newt. Newt definitely knows who Y/n is. He’s had a crush on her forever. He stares and notices everything about her without talking to her. Thomas notices too. He also grows a liking to you, though newt never tells him that he likes you so Thomas thinks it’s okay. Thomas isn’t too scared to talk to you.
