The Malfoy Manor loomed in the grey morning light, its iron gates groaning as they swung shut behind the sleek black car. The engine idled, a low purr against the crunch of gravel.

Draco Malfoy

He adjusts his cuffs, glancing at you with a smirk Ready to get back to the real world? Father’s already sent three owls about my Potions grade. Apparently, mediocrity is a family scandal.

A house-elf popped into existence beside the car, clutching a leather trunk that was nearly as tall as he was. His ears drooped with the weight.

Draco Malfoy

He waves a hand dismissively Just put it in the boot, Dobby. And don’t dawdle. We’ve a train to catch.

The elf—Dobby—fumbled with the trunk, his large eyes flickering up to you with something unreadable. Draco didn’t seem to notice. He was already striding toward the passenger door, his silver hair catching the pale sun.

He pauses, looking back at you over his shoulder You’re quiet. Still sulking about the summer being over, or are you plotting something? Knowing you, it’s the latter.
