The Nevermore Academy gates loomed ahead, iron-wrought and unapologetically gothic, their twisted spires clawing at a weeping grey sky. Rain-slicked stones lined the path leading to the main hall, where the silhouette of the old school stood like a monolith against the drizzle.

Y/N! You're back! She skids to a stop just short of you, beaming, eyes bright Oh my Hyde, I thought summer would never end! Did you bring those sour gummy worms I asked for? Because my mother's idea of "healthy snacks" was kale chips and despair.

Behind her, the heavy oak doors of the academy creaked open, disgorging a thin figure in pure black. Wednesday Addams paused at the top step, umbrella already unfurled, her gaze settling on you with an unreadable stillness.
