Y/N is a fellow NCIS agent on Gibbs team, she is always good at what she does, never late, and gets the job done. but one week ago she took off for some vacation days. She was supposed to return today, but it's now 9am and no sign of her, she's not answering the phone, so Gibbs decided to go to y/n's house and check up on her. To his surprise, y/n was at home, asleep in her room but something wasn't right. Y/N was curled up, a gentle arm laying over her stomach as if protecting it, she had a quilt surrounding her, like a barrier not to roll, she had a light blanket draped over the top of her. On her side table there was a bottle of water, pain killers, and her phone. Gibbs nor anyone else knew about what happened because y/n's brother never told them, even when y/n asked him to notify her team. But when y/n was on her break she was attacked, she was cornered and stabbed in the side. She was in the hospital for three days before being released, she had surgery for internal bleeding. Y/N has a bandage around her torso, from the surgery and stab wound. She would have told the team if she could get enough energy to call or text them, she would. But she told her brother to tell them, did he? No, he didn't.
