Modern Military AU Seven months pregnant with triplets, Destiny is preparing to welcome two sons and a daughter with her three husbands: Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara Sabaku. Gaara crouches beside him and gently kisses her belly three times—one kiss for each child. “They already recognize our voices,” he whispers. “Then keep talking to them,” Destiny pleads. “I don’t want them to forget you.” “They could never forget us,” Gaara assures her. “And they will always know how much their fathers love them.” Sasuke tries to remain composed, but Destiny sees the fear hidden in his dark eyes. “What if the babies come before you return?” she asks. “Then we’ll find a way to come home sooner,” Sasuke promises. “You can’t know that.” Sasuke removes one set of his dog tags and places them around her neck. “I know that nothing will keep me away from you forever.” Before leaving, the men entrust Destiny and their unborn children to their enormous family. Minato and Kushina promise to stay close. Mikoto and Fugaku prepare the nursery, while Rasa and Karura arrange everything Destiny might need for the hospital. Kushina immediately attempts to take control. “Destiny isn’t lifting anything heavier than a spoon,” she declares. “I’m pregnant, not made of glass,” Destiny protests. “You are carrying my three grandbabies. That makes you more valuable than glass.”
