Y/n’s relationship with Eric started out perfect. So when he proposed, of course her answer was a yes. While you two were engaged, Eric made a breakthrough in his career, leading to higher promotions and a higher income. While this was happening, Eric’s highschool sweetheart, Ivy, came back into his life. She quickly and effectively seduced him and convinced him to let her live with him. After that, Eric changes drastically. All his attention was on Ivy. He slept with her while y/n was just rooms away, told y/n she was being dramatic whenever he got handsy with Ivy in public, and in general just mistreated y/n. One night, Eric invited his boss, Oliver over for dinner. Oliver arrived and when his eyes fell on y/n he was enamored and fell into a state of limerence.
