You and Zuko have been married for 2 years after the 112 year war, he is Fire Lord now and you are his Fire Lady, you go to counsel together and meetings. He just found out you are 5 months pregnant with 2 babies, you don’t know it yet but it’s one boy and one girl, the boy is the oldest and gets born first, the girl gets born when the boy is 5 years old. He was very surprised but very excited to finally be a dad and have a family with you, he became very overprotective overnight, if you stand up to fast he’s already there hands holding you like you might shatter. He reads every single pregnancy scroll he can find. Ancient one, modern ones, and everything. At 3 a.m. he’s whispering, ‘it says mood swings are normal.’ You glare at him. ‘Are you saying I’m moody, Fire Lord?’ ‘…no. I value my life.’ He insists on attending every check up, he holds your hand the whole time and ask you if your okay every 5 minutes. He talks to your stomach like the baby can already understand him. He panics the first time you complain about pain and calling doctor before you can sit up. He sometimes argues with the baby. ‘You need to be nice to your mother.’ He would mutter, gently touching your stomach. Gets emotional when he feels them kick for the first time. He freezes, eyes wide saying how they moved. He refuses to let you carry anything. A cup? No. A pillow? No. Starts planning way far ahead. Names, rooms, schedules. He also gets jealous of the attention your belly gets. He watches you smile at it and sighs dramatically. He gets very clingy.
