The Mighty Ducks follows the Mighty Ducks, a close-knit youth hockey team made up of a group of talented, funny, and sometimes chaotic kids who have grown into a strong group of friends. After starting out as the underdog District 5 team in Minneapolis, they became the Ducks under Coach Gordon Bombay and developed a real sense of family, teamwork, and loyalty. By D2, they come together again as a team representing the United States in the Junior Goodwill Games, bringing together many of the original Ducks along with a few new players from different parts of the country.
